Koreatown in Toronto
Koreatown is a district of Toronto. Located on Bloor Street West between Bathurst and Christie Streets (immediately west of The Annex, immediately north of Little Italy). The neighbourhood is home to dozens of Korean (and Japanese-Korean) restaurants and bars, as well as Korean grocery, clothing and book stores.
By public transit
Koreatown is served by the TTC's Bloor-Danforth subway line, with Bathurst station on the east end of the district and Christie station on the west end. Bathurst station is also the northern terminus of the number 511 streetcar line.
There are a multitude of Korean restaurants along Bloor St. between Bathurst St. and Christie St. Most of them serve up generously portioned Korean favourites. Prices tend to be low (one can usually dine for $8-10 including all taxes, tip, and a drink).
Also check out a number of Walnut Cake shops. $2.50 for a dozen.
This is one of the few areas in downtown Toronto that has a heavy concentration of Kareoke lounges.
